Hello!

My name is Andrew, and Im happy that you've found your way to my Picfair site. Ive been fascinated with photography since I was young. My father inspired me to take up photography. I started in high school with photography courses, utilizing 35mm manual focus film cameras and monochrome film. I learned the entire process of shooting images, developing film, and working in a darkroom to create prints. This expanded to learning how to photograph with medium and large format film cameras, and eventually entered into digital imaging. I combined my love of SCUBA diving and the ocean with photography and expanded to underwater photography while on vacation in the Caribbean.

After high school, I spent a year at an art college majoring in photography. I decided that photography was not a career choice that I wanted to continue with, but chose to continue my passion in my spare time.

Fast forward to now, and I am currently an active duty military member that has been lucky enough to explore all over the US. I have a passion for wildlife photography and nature, and you'll usually find me with a camera in arms reach no matter where I am.
